A group of Song Yaozhou and Linru celadon. Linru celadon wares are close imitation of the Yaozhou celadon. They are very similar in terms of glaze, paste, form and motif. Linru in in Henan and the location is not far from Yaozhou in Shanxi The main different is that Linru products are generally of poorer quality and generally you can find grits on the base. A group of beautiful Song Jizhou shards. The glaze involved sprinkling a lighter over-glaze to produce mottled effect which can be or more transparent and glossy if fired at a higher temperature. There are both types in the group. Large number of such Jizhou wares are now being produced, some totally new and others are old pieces sprinkled with a lighter colour glaze to create a mottled effect through another firing.
